The high-quality 3D game will again be made available to its international fan community free of charge, financed instead exclusively by In-Game Advertising.

Launched in 2008 to coincide with the European Championship, Football Challenge is set for another big season. With game upgrades already in place, the fully dynamic In-Game Advertising software running in the background, and the World Cup taking place this summer, Greentube is calling for football fans to take to the virtual pitch. The high-quality 3D game will again be made available to its international fan community free of charge, financed instead exclusively by In-Game Advertising. Back in 2008 Football Challenge pushed the boundaries of traditional gaming appeal, setting new standards in the coverage of high-quality computer games in many countries in the process. A range of international media and sponsorship partners have again been brought on board for the upcoming season. Their cooperation and dedication has enabled the implementation of this cross-border, mass gaming project. The game will be launched in Slovenia with partner Zurnal, followed by Poland with TVP. Others will follow at the beginning of June – just ahead of this summer’s World Cup. For Football Challenge 10 more than two million active gamers are expected from around the world, who will contest over 50 million matches and create a high advertising value. The huge success of Greentube’s 3D games is made possible by collaboration with notable media companies, distribution through game magazines as well as rapid viral distribution on the internet.
