CONTROL METHODS
Thumb controls
Use them for steering the skier with one of your thumbs (either left or right - adjustable in the advanced settings) on the side of the screen while your other thumb is reserved for braking.
Added with the latest update for thumb controls:
- Players can now have the slide bar always visible.
- Visuals for the slider
Tilt controls
Tilt your phone or tablet to control the steering of your skier. Touch the screen for the skier to brake.
Touch controls (BETA)
Use your two thumbs to control the skier. Skier will turn to the desired pressed side (left/right). To break touch with both thumbs. To break while performing a turn either use swipe down or tap with opposite thumb (configurable in the advanced settings).
CIAO GIOCATORE - BORMIO IS HERE!
Pista Stelvio in Bormio, one of the most technically challenging courses in the world, is now playable with this new update. Enjoy the beautiful Italian sunset while you blast past your opponents. But don't get too comfortable - another brand-new course is already on its way.
RANKING SYSTEM
Enough practicing! Now it's time to get serious.
With the newly implemented league system, you can put your Ski Challenge skills to the test.
Not only will it help you to find your place among thousands of players, but you'll also be paired with players of your skill level for more competition than ever.
Climb to the top of the rankings by winning competitive races and earning skill points.
The more you win, the faster you climb up the rankings and divisions. You get more points if you win against better players, and points are deducted if you lose competitive races.
Each player starts in the Qualifier and fights their way up through Bronze, Silver, Gold, all the way to Master Division.
COMPETITIVE RACES
With the upcoming update you will have the option to take part in competitive races, these are considered a competitive alternative to the now familiar normal races that do not contribute to the ranking. ("Unranked")
By winning competitive races you can work your way up to higher ranks and divisions.
In this game mode, you are paired with an existing run of a player who is at your skill level, and if you win that race, you earn the very skill points I mentioned earlier that you need to improve your rank and division.
But beware, if you close the game or quit early during a competitive race, you will lose skill points.
TIME-BASED LEADERBOARDS
In unranked mode, the top 10 best times per track are displayed and by clicking on a specific time, you can also compete or practice against this performance and see the Ski Settings that this player used.
In competitive mode you can even view the top 100 best times within your division.
CREATE YOUR OWN STYLE
Show your best side and customize your look by treating your avatar with new clothes and accessories.
YOUR PERSONAL PLAYER PROFILE
In the future, your achievements will be displayed in your player profile. In addition to statistics of your achievements, your best runs per track will be stored there, so you can easily find and share them.
Please note that the best times saved in the profile are only those achieved in competitive game mode.
