PARTS & STAR LEVELS

HOW TO GET PARTS

You can obtain Parts through various in-game activities:

• Crates – Take part in Career Races and Events to receive crates as rewards.
• Ski Pass Rewards – Progress through the Ski Pass to earn Parts.
• Shop – Purchase part packs with Crystals.
• Race Rewards in Career Mode – Claim Parts as rewards for completing Career Races.

HOW TO USE PARTS TO UNLOCK & UPGRADE EQUIPMENT

• Earn Parts: Collect Parts by opening crates, claiming Parts as race rewards in Career Mode, claiming rewards from the Ski Pass, purchasing Part Packs, and more.

• View Part Requirements: The system will display how many Parts of which equipment you’ve collected and how many more are needed for unlocking or upgrading an item.

• Unlock/Upgrade: Once you’ve earned enough Parts, the equipment will automatically unlock or upgrade to the next star level.

• Part Consumption: The required Parts are automatically used in the process of unlocking or upgrading the equipment.

• Check Your Inventory: You can always check your Inventory to see which equipment you’ve already unlocked and how many Parts are still needed to upgrade it to the next star level.

• View Locked Equipment: You can also see equipment that you haven’t unlocked yet and how many Parts you need to do so.

STAR LEVELS & EQUIPMENT UPGRADES

Each piece of equipment in Ski Challenge has a star level system that determines its potential:

STAR LEVELS EXPLAINED

• Level 0 (Locked) – Item cannot be used.

• Level 1 (★) – Item is unlocked and usable with basic attributes.

• Level 2 (★★) – Improved attribute thresholds.

• Level 3 (★★★) – Maximum attribute thresholds.

Additionally, higher star levels also unlock additional Ski Radius options as you progress.

ATTRIBUTE UPGRADES

After unlocking star levels, you can further improve your equipment by upgrading individual attributes:

• Select an Item: Go to the item in your Inventory.
• View Attributes: See which attributes can be upgraded (Speed, Carve, Grip, etc.).
• Upgrade with Coins: Tap the “+” button next to an attribute to upgrade it using Coins.

STAR LEVEL LIMITATIONS

• Level 1 (★) allows upgrades to attribute levels 0-5.
• Level 2 (★★) allows upgrades to attribute levels 6-8.
• Level 3 (★★★) allows upgrades to attribute levels 9-10.

ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM (MODIFIERS)

Enhancements follow the same star level system as equipment:

• Unlock and upgrade enhancements using Red Parts.
• Enhancement Containers: Each enhancement has energy containers that provide uses.
  • Each race consumes one container when the enhancement is active.
  • When all containers are used up, the enhancement becomes inactive until refilled.
  • Star Level 1 gives you 1 container.
  • Star Level 2 gives you 2 containers.
  • Star Level 3 gives you 3 containers.
• Containers refill over time automatically or can be instantly refilled with Crystals.

TIPS FOR MANAGING YOUR PARTS

• Focus on collecting Parts for equipment that suits your racing style.
• Upgrade your equipment strategically when you’re stuck in a race and need better performance. Aim to earn Parts specifically for this equipment to unlock higher star levels and upgrade its attributes.
• Regularly check your progress in the Ski Pass and the shop for Part rewards and Part Packs.
