Fresh from hosting the 2025 World Championships, Saalbach delivers the perfect stage for crowning our champion. This Austrian classic combines high-speed gliding sections with technical challenges that demand precision and nerve. The course drops through the heart of the Glemmtal valley, with panoramic views of the Pinzgau Alps providing a breathtaking backdrop for the final showdown.
From the explosive start through sweeping turns and committed straightlines, Saalbach rewards racers who can balance aggression with control. The lower section tightens into a technical finish that has decided countless races by hundredths of a second. Champions are made here — and this weekend, a champion will be crowned.
This weekend, Ski Challenge brings Saalbach to life with two World Cup Race Events:
- One-Try Race – one run, full commitment, no second chances.
- Unlimited Event – hunt the perfect line and push for your fastest time.
Hermaaaaan arrives as the newly crowned World Cup 26 Champion, his title mathematically secured in Garmisch. But the battle for 2nd place rages on — JohnJulian leads Pepikum20 by just 21 points. Every position in the top 10 is still up for grabs.
Training begins midweek, with race action on Saturday and Sunday.

Wammerl wins the finale — Hermaaaaan crowned World Cup 26 Champion!
The season finale in Saalbach delivered one last twist. Wammerl — who opened the season with victory in Sölden — bookended his campaign with another win on Austrian snow. Meanwhile, Hermaaaaan sealed his championship in style, taking the Time Attack to remind everyone why he dominated this season.
